ELIAMEP Hangouts: Ethics and Artificial Intelligence – Michail Bletsas and Lilian Mitrou

Europe Direct ELIAMEP Attikis and WeFor, in collaboration with EUYouthHub, organized a discussion entitled “ELIAMEP Hangouts: Ethics and Artificial Intelligence”.

Mr. Michail Bletsas, Research Scientist and Director of Computing, MIT’s Media Lab

Mrs. Lilian Mitrou, Professor, University of the Aegean

Moderator: Mrs. Odin Linardatou, Head of Communications, ELIAMEP

The discussion took place on the 25^th of April 2023, from 19:00 until 21:00 at Enastron Bookstore (101, Solonos Str., Athens, 106 78) and was dedicated to artificial intelligence. More specifically, the speakers discussed ethical issues raised by the ever-increasing use of artificial intelligence in day-to-day life and how the European Union reacts to these consequences.
