The Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) and the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) Institute organized a roundtable discussion entitled: “EU accession perspectives – still alive? Where do the Western Balkans and Turkey stand today?”
The event aimed to debate the recent developments in EU enlargement policies with a particular focus on the Western Balkans and Turkey. In that context, it addressed the limited enthusiasm for further enlargement and assessed the prospects for future relations between the EU and countries of the Western Balkans, as well as with Turkey.
