“We do not feel the French influence on the corridors of Brussels”. The election of Emmanuel Macron has rekindled the hope that he will “promote the European agenda in line with the expectations of southern Europe, but, as with François Hollande, there is always a discomfort in the correlation of France with southern Europe, because it is associated with the crisis and the austerity, which is not good for the country’s image. According to her, the Greeks would like Emmanuel Macron to place the social issue at the center of European debates. “But none of this has happened, and we do not find the ambitions we would like France to have”.
