“Greece will have to increasingly confront a combination of traditional and contemporary, asymmetrical and hybrid security threats. The exact character of those threats and challenges remains difficult to predict. There is indeed a plethora of ways that one can connect Turkey’s revisionist behavior with other potential threats and/or new vulnerabilities facing Greece, such as transnational organized crime, terrorist attacks, uncontrollable and illegal mass migration, cyber-threats and/or environmental issues,” writes Panayotis Tsakonas in his article for newspaper “TO VIMA”.
