ELIAMEP proudly announces the following additions to its re-launched Mediterranean programme:

Dr. Ronald Meinardus, ELIAMEP Senior Research Fellow, Head of the Mediterranean Programme. Ronald Meinardus is a political analyst and commentator, former Head of Deutsche Welle’s legendary Greek radio program and former Director Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) for many years.

Cleopatra Kitti, ELIAMEP Senior Policy Advisor, co-founder of ELIAMEP’s Mediterranean Programme and founder of the Mediterranean Growth Initiative (MGI).

Dr. Fadi George Comair, ELIAMEP Senior Policy Advisor; water diplomat, Professor of Applied Hydrology and Director of the EEWRC (Energy, Environment, Water and Research Center) of the Cyprus Institute. Fadi Comair was formerly Chairperson of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Hydrological Programme.

Dr. Xenia Loizidou, ELIAMEP Research Fellow, member of several European and International expert groups and networks as executive coastal engineer and Integrated Coastal Zone management expert; Ambassador of the Mediterranean coasts by the UN Environment Programme, and a member of the UN SDSN Cyprus Leadership Council.

Demetris Bouris, ELIAMEP Non-Resident Research Fellow, Assistant Professor at the University of Amsterdam, Associate Editor of the academic journal European Security and Visiting Professor at the College of Europe.

ELIAMEP’s Mediterranean Program seeks to promote and engage in research and dialogue on Euro-Mediterranean politics and policies and, where appropriate, add the Greek perspectives to the related debates. Our programme provides a platform for dialogue and joint projects of research centers and think tanks from both sides of the Mediterranean.
