Greek newspaper “TA NEA” runs a “crossfire” column dedicated to presenting two different approaches to a topical political issue. George Tzogopoulos wrote an article on why Greece will benefit from maintaining its close relation to Israel.

“The deterioration of Israeli – Turkish relations after 2008 has brought Greece and Israel closer. Either on a bilateral  or a trilateral level, factoring in Cyprus, a collaborative network has been built, one that includes shared goals that range from security and energy to combating antisemitism. The conversation is constantly being enriched. The use of Israeli manned air vehicles by Greece is the latest development,” writes George Tzogopoulos in his article for “TA NEA”.
