Ioannis Armakolas talked about the new political developments in North Macedonia and their impact regarding the Prespa Agreement in an interview with Athina 9,84 fm.

Commenting on the position of the main opposition party regarding the Prespa Agreement Armakolas said that “the use of the new name is questioned by opposition, VMRO. Until now its leader, Hristijan Mickoski has not shown any desire, including the party members, to use the new name”, so there will be issues with Greece, as he said.

He thoroughly explained the reasons of ruling SDSM party’s defeat in local elections noting that the citizens’ disappointment for the delays in the country’s European course has been a determining factor of the current political crisis.
