On the third anniversary of the Prespa Agreement, Ioannis Armakolas made a general comment on the key findings of “The Prospects of the Prespa Agreement: Public Opinion in Northern Macedonia and Greece”, the joint survey co-published by ELIAMEP, the Institute for Democracy ‘Societas Civilis’ in Skopje, and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Foundation.

“What is needed from now on is for the political leaderships of both Greece and North Macedonia to be honest. To be honest about their intentions regarding the implementation of the Prespa Agreement, as well as about the policies they will pursue for the future of bilateral relations and how these could bring benefits to both sides of the border”, Armakolas notes.
