Marianthi Anastasatou is an economist at the Bank of Greece. She studied International and European Economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business and Economics and Finance (MSc) at the University of York. She obtained her PhD in Growth Economics at the University of Bristol. She is experienced in the analysis of the macroeconomic environment and the Economic Adjustment Programs of Greece. She has been the Greek delegate at Working Groups of the European Union, the European Central Bank and the OECD. Her research interests include economic growth, public finances, competition and international trade. She has taught at the University of Bristol and University of Athens.
