The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) are co-organizing an International Conference on the Treaty of Lausanne. The Conference is under the patronage of H.E. the President of the Hellenic Republic Ms. Katerina Sakellaropoulou.

The Conference will be held in English, on 12 & 13 June 2023.

Monday 12 June at the Argyriadis Amphitheater, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens

Tuesday 13 June at the A.Tritsis Ampitheater, Municipality of Athens Cultural Center

The 100th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Lausanne offers the opportunity for an in-depth, international, cross-disciplinary dialogue on the Treaty and its provisions, its relevance today and its contribution to the evolution of relations between Greece and Turkey as well as the geopolitical balance in the wider region.

The Conference proceedings will be recorded by the Bodossaki Foundation (Blod).
