The Europe Direct Information Centre hosted at the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) is organizing a series of seminars addressed to secondary school teachers, entitled “The Future of the European Union after the European Elections of 2019”.

The seminars will take place every Tuesday, from the 22nd of October, the 19th of November, from 17:00 until 20:00, at the European Commission Representation in Greece ( 49, Vas. Sofias Ave.).

The goal of the seminars is to inform teachers about the functions and institutions of the European Union, to highlight the important impact of the elections on the future of the EU, as well as their impact on critical European policies.

Among the main issues that will be analyzed are:

-The crises and the future of the EU

– The Common Foreign and Security Policy of the EU

-Migration Policy and the EU

-Euroscepticism

-Financial and monetary policy of the EU

-EU’s environmental Policy

The working language is Greek.
