Ana Krstinovska spoke at the online event “Chinese Media Influence: Lessons Learned from Central and Eastern Europe”, organized by the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) and Freedom House. Other panelists included Martin Hála from Sinopsis, Edward Lucas from CEPA, Ellie Young from Freedom House and Kevin Sheives from the National Endowment for Democracy who moderated the event. Krstinovska focused on China’s influence operations in the Western Balkans, the strategies, tools and impact achieved thus far, providing specific examples and recommendations for the future scholarship and policy making.
