“The COVID pandemic has, to a certain extent, slowed down the movement of mixed migration flows to Europe and Greece. In the long term, however, one has to be aware that the economic impact of the pandemic may be added to other root causes and ultimately cause even more significant movements” stated Panagiotis Paschalidis, researcher at the South – East Europe Programme of ELIAMEP and member of the MIGREC team in the Summer School on Refugee Rights and Migration 2020.
