George Pagoulatos, Professor of European politics and economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business, and vice president of the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP), spoke at the event “Reflections on the Second Decade of Economic and Monetary Union”, which was organized by Leiden University and was co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the EU, regarding the Second Decade of Economic and Monetary Unionthe ways it managed to survive the financial crisis and the euro debt crisis as well as  the next steps towards its further reinforcement.  

The panel consisted of a mix of politicians, policy-makers and academics who follow the developments closely.
