Ekrem Guzeldere recently authored the chapter entitled “TurkeyFrom successful mediator to partisan actor – back to successful mediator?” in the Routledge Handbook of Regional Conflict Resolution Initiatives in the Global South’.

The volume aims to go beyond previous analyses and provide new insights regarding the effect that the stabilising role of emerging powers from the Global South within their own region has on the continental and global positioning of emerging powers. In other words, this book explores the relation between a country’s involvement in conflict resolution initiatives and its positioning in the international system.
