Julianne Funk at the conference entitled “The Role of Religion in the Western Balkans’ Societies”

Julianne Funk, Research Fellow at ELIAMEP’s South-East Europe Programme, gave a keynote speech at the conference entitled “The Role of Religion in the Western Balkans’ Societies”, organized by IDM Albania and its partners on 11 and 12 June 2019.

Her paper, “Religions as loci of conflict prevention. Local capacities of Bosnia & Herzegovina’s religious communities”, can be found in the conference volume, which includes a study of elite religious leadership perspectives on the importance, influence and public role of religion in their societies.
