Ioannis Armakolas has joined, along with other distinguished experts, the newly established International Advisory Committee of the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP).

The International Advisory Committee is aiming at bringing together internationally renowned researchers, professors, people from the think-tank community and former officials – experts in international relations, defense, security, and the rule of law.

The Committee is established to contribute to a better international understanding of the Balkans, to open a discussion on relations within the region and to seek answers to old and new challenges of the Western Balkans.

Some of the distinguished experts of the new Committee are:  Srđan Cvijić, President of the International Advisory Committee, Rosa Balfour, Director, Carnegie Europe, Nikola Dimitrov, ex Minister of Foreign Affairs for North Macedonia, Hannes Swoboda, President of the International Insitute for Peace, Florent Marciacq, Deputy Secretary General & Research Fellow, Austro-French Centre for Rapprochement in Europe, Engjellushe Morina, Senior policy fellow with the Wider Europe Programme, European Council on Foreign Relations, Edward P. Joseph, Senior Fellow, Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies
