On Friday 9 September 2011, President of ELIAMEP Prof. Loukas Tsoukalis participated in the first Serbia-EU Forum which was held in Belgrade. In his speech, Prof. Tsoukalis discussed EU policy towards the Western Balkans in a panel introduced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Vuk Jeremić. Participants in the First Serbia-EU Forum included, among others, the President of the European Council, Herman van Rompuy, President of Serbia, Boris Tadić, and the Minister for EU Affairs of Turkey, Egemen Bagis.
