The European Parliament Directorate General for External Policies of the Union recently published the study entitled “Turkey’s foreign policy and its consequences for the EU”, co-authored by Nicholas Danforth, together with Ilke Toygür, Funda Tekinand Eduard Soler i Lecha. The report examines the present impasse in EU-Turkey relations as well as the overall dynamics of Turkish foreign policy-making, its relations with historical allies and approach to theatres of power in its neighbourhood, and ends with an overlook to the future and policy recommendations for decision-makers in Europe.
