Sofia Michalaki holds a BA in Philosophy, Pedagogics and Psychology (School of Philosophy, National and Kapodestrian University of Athens) and an MA in European and International Studies (Department of Political Science and Public Administration, National and Kapodestrian University of Athens). She is currently a PhD candidate at the Department of Political Science and Public Administration. Her research interests are discourse theory and analysis, European Integration, Employment and Social Policy. She speaks  English, German, Spanish and Portoguese.
