The Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP), in cooperation with OPEK and with the kind support of the Delegation of the European Commission, organized a public discussion on “Security and Guaranties in the Resolution of the Cyprus Issue”. Mr. Markos Kyprianou (Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus) and Mr. Larkos Larkou (president of OPEK) gave the opening remarks. The speakers were Androulla Kaminara (Head of the Delegation of the European Commission in Cyprus), Mr. Thanos Dokos (Director General of the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy-ELIAMEP) Michalis Attalidis (Dean of the University of Lefkosia and former General Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Cyprus). Mr. Loizos Antoniou (member of the Board of Trustees of OPEK) moderated the discussion, which took place Thursday, February 17th, 2011, in the events’ hall of the National Bank of Greece.
