The Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP), the Andreas Papandreou Institute of Strategic and Development Studies (ISTAME) and the Constantinos Karamanlis Insitute for Democracy, in the framework of Athens International 2009 organised a conference on “Defence, Security, Energy and Civil Aviation in SE Europe and the Middle East”. Panels included discussions on national economy, defence, energy issues, economic diplomacy and cooperation in SE Europe.

The conference and the exhibition took place at the “Metropolitan Expo” Exhibition Centre-Athens International Airport.
