The Crisis Observatory is an ELIAMEP initiative, created in 2013 with the support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. Its primary objective is to promote research and the fruitful exchange of opinion and policy proposals regarding the crisis in Greece, but also the broader Eurozone crisis.
Its guiding pursuit is presenting solid argumentation and data for the deeper study and understanding of the crisis and the advancement of the public discourse around it. Through interactive educational applications and special sections (library, timeline, repository of public documents) it provides the material necessary for understanding and analyzing the crisis, gathered and organized in a systematic, easy-to-use manner.
The complete material of the Crisis Observatory (since 2013) is maintained in its previous website (crisisobs.org), as an open access archive for informative and research purposes.
