On Monday, October 13 2014, ELIAMEP and the American Hellenic Institute organised a discussion on: “The American role in Cyprus: Past, Present and Future”on the occasion of the publication of the book “Kissinger & Cyprus: A study in lawlessness” by Mr. Gene Rossides, Founder & former Chief Operating Officer, American Hellenic Institute, former Assistant Secretary, United States Treasury Department. Speakers were: Gene Rossides, Prof. Theodore Couloumbis, Professor Emeritus, University of Athens, Member of the Honorary Committee, ELIAMEP, Mr. Nick Larigakis, President & Chief Operating Officer, American Hellenic Institute (AHI) ,Mr. Costa Carras, Founder and Board Member of “Friends of Cyprus”, London Greek Coordinator of the Greek Turkish Forum. Mr. Alexis Papahelas, Executive Editor of “KATHIMERINI” newspaper moderated the discussion.
The event will be held in Greek and English with simultaneous interpretation, at the Yannos Kranidiotis Amphitheater, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1, Akadimias Str.)
