imageThe Initiative for Heritage Conservancy (IHC), the Kent-AUEB MA in Heritage Management and the South-East Europe Programme of the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) organised a lecture by Ms. Elma Hasimbegovic on ‘The Historical Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina: challenges and new perspective’on Monday December 1st, at 5:30p.m. at the office of the Representation of the European Commission in Greece, 2, Vassilisis Sofias Ave.

Ms. Hasimbegovic in her speech  informed the audience about the museum’s intention to become an important cultural center for the country. During her presentation, Ms Elma Hasimbegovic referred to the historical progress of the museum and the difficulties that it has faced. At the same time she presented the vision of the museum’s administration for its future, the improvement of its infrastructure and to the need of finding resources through the engagement of civil society and the universities as well.
