logo tgae IINotre Europe, Egmont, Elcano Institute and GKI organised on the 4th March 2010 the launching event of the “Think Global – Act European” (TGAE) report. The report TGAE II has been prepared under the auspices of Notre Europe with the aim of making recommendations to the current EU’s trio Presidency including Spain, Belgium and Hungary (January 2010 – June 2011). ELIAMEP, together with 13 other European think tanks took part in the “Think Global – Act European” (TGAE) project and has participated to the final report with three contributions:

Ruby Gropas, Integrating Peace, Security and Environmental Priorities in EU Development Cooperation Policies.

Ioannis N. Grigoriadis, The Nabucco Project: Implications for the EU Strategic Energy Review.

Filippa Chatzistavrou, The Distribution of Competences under the Reform Treaty: Some Suggestions towards an Improved Policy-Making Process.

The final programme of the launch event included two panels, on “The priorities of the Lisbon Treaty implementation for an increased EU efficiency” and “EU 2020: new synergies between economic, environmental and social policies”. The agenda focused among other questions on the new role of the Trio, common program priorities, climate issues and the Post-Lisbon strategy (EU 2020).
