The Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) organized a public debate on the question “Is the flexibility in industrial relations, even if only under certain conditions, a prerequisite for effectively combating unemployment?”. The speakers were Mr. Giannis Koukiadis (Professor of Labor Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), Mr. Stavros Kyriazis (Member of the Board of Directors of the ADEDY Social Multicenter), Mrs. Miranda Xafa (Investment Consultant-IJ Partners) and Mr. Savvas Robolis (Professor at Panteion University and Research Director of the Labor Institute-GSEE/ADEDY). Mr. Eliza Papadaki (Journalist at the Newspaper  the “NEA”) moderated the discussion, which took place on Thursday, May 12th, 2011, in the auditorium of the old Athens Stock Exchange with the kind support of the Hellenic Postbank.
