The speakers were divided into two groups: those in favor and those against the proposal. On the one hand, Charalambos Moutsopoulos (Professor at the Medical School of the University of Athens) and Vassilis Papazoglou (Special Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Professor at Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering School of the National Technical University of Athens) were in favor of the proposal. On the other hand, Yannis Mylopoulos (Dean of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Professor at the School of Civil Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and George Sotirelis (Professor at the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of the University of Athens) were against the proposal.
