On 23 October Professor Loukas Tsoukalis, President of ELIAMEP, talked on ‘Legitimacy: Technocracy vs Populism’, in a series of seminars on the European crisis, organised by the University of Oxford (St. Anthony’s College) and the European Council on Foreign Affairs. Prof. Brigid Laffan (University College, Dublin) also participated in the discussion. He also talked on the same subject in the Black Coffee Morning event, organised by ECFR on 24 October with the participation of journalists, diplomats, think tankers, parliamentarians and representatives of business.
