From 2 until 6 July ELIAMEP welcomed a group of American Marshall Memorial Fellows in Thessaloniki. Over the course of 4 days the fellows met with high ranking individuals from the business, academic and non for profit sector. Intensive and wide range the programme included briefings on the economic social and political crisis in Greece, the way economic migrants experience the crisis, the project on the education of the Muslim minority children in Thrace, visits to the Museum of Macedonian Struggle as well as to the Jewish museum, They were complemented with a day in Halkidiki to discuss current trends in the Greek tourism as well as a visit to a winery and the American Farm School.
